MySpace announced Tuesday that it is cutting 47 percent of its staff. Way back in 2005 News Corp. bought MySpace for more than $500 million. The last quarter News Corp. lost $150 million. The layoffs will affect around 500 people. News Corp. has admitted they are considering selling the site. It is really sad how far they have fallen.
